This year's Class of 2028 8th Grade Student and Parent Expo has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 3:30 - 6:30 PM. This event is designed to give the future Bret Harte Class of 2028 an introduction to the high school campus, explain graduation and core requirements, experience the elective, co- and extracurricular activities offered at Bret Harte Union High School. The principal’s welcome will take place in the Theater at 5:30 PM. Thereafter, the multipurpose room will be open for parents to reserve appointment times to register for fall classes on one of the following dates: March 18, 19, 20, and 21. Appointment times begin at 3:30 PM. Department staff, clubs, and athletics will be present to share information with students and families. Students are expected to attend the entirety of the event. Parent/guardians are required to provide their student’s transportation home when the event ends at approximately 6:30 PM.

Student Board Member 24/25 School Year

Anyone interested in becoming the Student Board Member for next year, 2024-2025, please submit an application to the Superintendent by March 15, 2024. Applications can be picked up at the District Office or with Mrs. Barajas in the Front Office.

Please note that a failure to serve the After School Detention may result in a student being suspended. Your student will also receive this email along with a call slip reminder on Monday's (or Tuesday if Monday is a Holiday). As a reminder, if student fails to attend lunch and after school detention that week, it will result in In-School Suspension along with social probation up to 6 weeks. Refer to the student handbook provided at the beginning of the school year or our website.
